Native. Creative. Timeless

Rooted in Tradition, Inspired by the River

My baskets are shaped by the waters and lands of Tsenacommacah, and by the stories carried through my Nansemond, Nottoway, Saponi, Tuscarora, and Meherrin ancestors. Each piece reflects the memory, resilience, and creativity that has been passed down for generation.

Crafted by Hand, Shared with Community

I weave to keep memory alive, but also to connect. Through demonstrations, artist talks, and cultural events, I share the traditions of basketry while teaching how tightly it is tied to the environment around us. Every basket holds more than form—it carries story and purpose.

A space where I share insights from my weaving practice, reflections on heritage, and stories from exhibitions and community events. You can also find my artist CV and a FAQ page with answers about my work, materials, and process.
